Due to the Corona crisis, the Waves Festival 2020 will take place in a strongly changed form. More details here.

Of course, we want to offer all ticket purchasers various possibilities of how to deal with tickets that have already been purchased. Please understand that due to logistical reasons we can only consider your requests for an exchange of tickets until August 10th, 2020.

1. Exchange to 2021 Waves Festival Passes including all Early Bird variants can be exchanged for a 2021 Festival Ticket. The 2021 Waves Festival will take place from 9-11 September, 2021. To initiate the exchange, please send us your PDF ticket or the order confirmation email stating that you would like to exchange your ticket for 2021 to ticketing@wavesvienna.com
2. Exchange to Corona Goodie Bag To give you a little festival feeling at home, we will produce a Corona Goodie Bag. The chic jute bag in our new design will of course include our exclusive 12″ vinyl, produced especially for Waves 2020 and not available in stores, with tracks from all this year’s Export Award XA nominees – the nominees will be announced by the end of July -, the special edition of The Gap Waves Festival and some surprise goodies. To initiate the exchange, please send us your PDF ticket or the e-mail with the order confirmation stating that you want to exchange your ticket for the Corona Goodie Bag to ticketing@wavesvienna.com. We will gladly send the bag by mail within Austria for free. If you decide to pick up your bag at the WUK during the festival days, you will receive a drinks package for the festival feeling at home.
3. Exchange Public Viewing Ticket On all three days of the festival we offer a public viewing of a curated selection of our streamed shows in the courtyard of the WUK. By exchanging your festival pass you can secure one of the strictly limited tickets for the WUK. To initiate the exchange, please send us your PDF-ticket or the e-mail with the order confirmation stating that you want to exchange your ticket for a public viewing ticket to ticketing@wavesvienna.com. Only while stocks last!

If you do not contact us with an exchange request by August 10, 2020, your ticket will automatically be exchanged for a 2021 Festival Pass.

Please note that we can only consider your exchange request per order. For example, only all tickets in one order can be exchanged for one goodie bag each or all tickets can be exchanged for one Festival Pass for 2021.

In all cases, your existing ticket will be converted into a steaming ticket that allows you to access our streaming channels by logging on to our website.
